My name is Elizabeth Weaver, and I am a student in Owens Community College’s Broadcast Media Technology major. I am applying for the position of Photographer/Videographer. I found this position through a listing that was provided to me. I was interested in it because of the wide variety of opportunities the position offers and the experience the job offers for someone new to the industry.

I am a detail-oriented worker with experience operating a camera and slating a take, as well as education in video editing and audio engineering. I can collaborate with fellow team members, as I have experience in shooting a short film with a small crew of creatives. I am confidently able to adapt and change to my environment as necessary, and will be able to continuously learn from my experience to innovate and adapt to new situations. I am able to take initiative when necessary and be accountable for my choices made using good judgement. When working on a crew I am a good listener and communicator with a proactive work mindset focused on being efficient and innovative.
